A new system of monsoon winds is likely to enter Sindh from today under which heavy rains are likely in Karachi on Sunday on the occasion of Ashura Day and on Monday due to which urban flooding has been feared once again. Is.

A spokesman of the Meteorological Department said that more rain is not expected in Karachi today. Clouds will move to other cities in Sindh. However, heavy rain is expected on Sunday and Monday, but the intensity is expected to be less than Thursday's rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, partly cloudy weather and thundershowers are expected in Karachi during the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature recorded in Quaid-e-Azam today was 27.5 degrees Celsius.

Winds are blowing at a speed of 18 km per hour from the northwest in Karachi with a humidity of 80%.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Lasbela, Khuzdar, Awaran, Barkhan, Zhob, Loralai, Kohlu and Sibi areas of Balochistan on Sunday and Monday.

Due to heavy rains, floods in Sibi, Kalat, Khuzdar and Lasbela rivers are also feared.
